DEVELOPING MY CREATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
This week, I was given the opportunity to learn about how our social media is managed and the way our posts are curated and developed.
I was also then tasked with curating content for two social media posts. I created carousels featuring summer party content for our Instagram grid, focusing on visuals that would resonate with our followers. This experience helped me understand the balance between creativity and strategy in social media management. It was also a great opportunity to begin working more closely with our social media team, as I was responsible for the graphic design elements of the social posts.
This opportunity was a great chance to learn a little about social media and the way it is utilised from a brand perspective; it also gave me insight into what it could be like to build a career in social media. This avenue is something I am really interested in exploring more, and so I am hoping that this placement will afford me the opportunity to work more within social media.
